FUTURO Gallery is the largest independent contemporary art gallery in Nizhny Novgorod, founded in 2016. The hallmark of the gallery is a unique ruined space that has retained elements of decoration in the Art Nouveau style, located in the building of the former tenement house of the City Society of the 19th century.
The gallery is a cultural center that combines exhibition and educational activities in the area of relevant art, and also supports local creative initiatives.
FUTURO has realized many of its projects by engaging guest curators, including in collaboration with other cultural institutions. It regularly takes part in contemporary art fairs. FUTURO is a proud member of the Association of Galleries.
FUTURO represents both established artists - nominees and finalists of contemporary art awards, and emerging young talents.
‘Spas’ — a new approach to the traditional art of tempera painting
