The center is one of the first institutions to study and develop the field of Art & Science in Russia. We combine creative ideas with the latest achievements of science and technology to create new knowledge, ideas and practices.
The Art & Science Center at ITMO University presents projects by students, graduates, and faculty of the eponymous master's program. The booth features projects by eight female artists working at the intersection of contemporary art, science, and new technologies. These projects explore the aesthetics of digital tools and the psychology of the information society, utilize scientific data and artificial intelligence to create new morphologies of sculptures, and raise important questions about our ecological future.
