KGallery

KGallery was founded in Saint-Petersburg in 2005. The gallery's collection is the largest private collection of Russian and Soviet art, which has been formed since the mid-1980s of the twentieth century. The funds contain masterpieces of Russian art of the 19th-20th centuries, including unic examples of Soviet unofficial and non-conformism art of the 1930s-1980s. Exhibition activity is one of the main activities of KGallery. Exhibitions of major Russian artists such as Boris Grigoriev, Robert Falk, Konstantin Somov, Sergei Sudeikin, Zinaida Serebryakova, Boris Kustodiev, Natan Altman and others were held here with great success. Many exhibitions were devoted to artistic associations and significant phenomena of the art of the 20th century. Since its foundation, KGallery has been actively cooperating not only with private collectors in Russia and Europe, but also with Russian State museums.

KGallery will present the project «ELEVEN» and will show the works of members of the «Eleven» group from the collection of the gallery, including paintings by Zaven Arshakuni, Valery Vatenin, German Egoshin, Yaroslav Krestovsky, Viktor Teterin, Vitaly Tyulenev, Boris Shamanov, Valentina Rakhina, Evgenia Antipova , Konstantin Simun, Leonid Tkachenko. 2022 is the anniversary year for the “Eleven” group: 50 years have passed since the date of the first joint exhibition in 1972. Anniversary exhibitions of the association have been held in St. Petersburg more than once: in honor of the 25th anniversary of the group, there was a large exhibition of artists in the Manege, and in 2021, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the association, 200 paintings were presented in KGallery. By participating in the art fair «1703» with the project «Eleven», we continue the good tradition of reminding about a group of bright artists, each of whom is a great individuality.
