Lakhta Centre to host 1703 winter market on December 13–14 — tickets available now
New Year is a great reason to try out something new — like your own personal art collection! December 13 and 14 will see the opening of the second 1703 winter market with Saint Petersburg galleries, art-spaces and collectives showcasing the works of contemporary artists. This time the venue will be the brand-new exhibition hall at Lakhta Centre.
The market will bring together gallerists, artists, collectors and viewers by opening a space for dialogue and support for the local art market. You will find the works from both renowned and young artists — from contemporary photography and oil on canvas to art objects and digital art.
• Anna Nova Gallery will display graphic works and art objects exploring the theme of time and space
• DiDi Gallery will exhibit works by young female artists spanning four mediums (graphics, metal, oil on canvas and glasswork)
• MYTH Gallery will bring small format works — from graphic art to neo-Dadaist objects and jewelry studs
• Jessica Gallery will create a total installation — a fairground stall featuring works by Nestor Engelke
• The Community of Contemporary Siberian Artists will present the project Siberian Gothic featuring folklore-themed art objects
• FotoDepartament.Gallery will showcase the works by contemporary photographers: limited edition photographs and prints using authentic techniques and materials
More than 20 galleries and art spaces are set to participate in the winter market:

The Lakhta Center Planetarium will also host a lecture program co-developed with a frequent 1703 partner — Masters School.
Over the course of four events curators, art dealers and artists will discuss choosing art as a gift, developing a taste for art as well as the beginnings of their own collections. While experts will look back on the year and share their plans for 2026: which exhibitions and fairs to look forward to and names to keep an eye on. The events schedule can be found here.
Admission to the market is by tickets. Ticket also grants access to all lectures at no cost and/or registration. Please make sure to arrive early as the available seating is limited.
