White Lines is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2020. Our main purpose is to create a community and help young artists in Saint Petersburg to introduce their practice to a wide audience. We as a gallery and curators organize exhibitions, sell artworks, collaborate with brands and state institutions.
The gallery's collection is based on curatorial selection. Now the site features 23 authors who work in various media and techniques. The gallery cooperates mainly with artists whose creative life is somehow connected with St. Petersburg, all of them are graduates of leading art academies. We actively participate in the artistic life of the city: we organize exhibitions, cooperate with organizations that support contemporary art, and form a community.
The general theme of the booth at the St. Petersburg Art Fair "1703" is dystopia. When forming the concept, we were inspired by the works of the Strugatsky brothers and other Soviet writers, reflecting on an imaginary future. The stand will feature works by Anastasia Sasova, Anton Shulgin, Maxim Klimov and other artists.
